However, many of these efforts remain fragmented, and do not yet influence the institutional culture and procedures of key actors, such as the United Nations and donor countries. ![]()
About This Project
For nearly forty years, IPI has been at the forefront of making peacekeeping more reliable and effective. From the training of UN peacekeeping troops in the 1970s, to the current work on multidimensional peace operations, IPI aims to deepen the understanding of peacekeeping missions around the world and to develop policy ideas for their success.
