This event, organized in partnership with the United Nations University Comparative Regional Integration Studies program (UNU-CRIS) in Bruges and the Institute of European Studies of the Free University of Brussels, took place on the eve of the constitutive meeting of a new Standing Committee created in 2005 to help deepen and institutionalize cooperation between the United Nations and regional organizations (ROs).
